The UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) is a 2-hour admissions test used by most UK medical and dental schools. It assesses cognitive abilities, decision making, and situational judgement — not academic knowledge.
Ideally, 3–4 months before your test. Most students sit the UCAT in July or August before submitting their UCAS application in October.
